Anna, or rather Tina, is on the run from her abusive husband, Glenn and the parts of the book about her relationship with him are a little grueling, and might be triggering for some readers. I mean, it was a lot of fun to read, and it does feature sexy redneck werewolves, romance and nudity, but it's also a story with actual substance, and deals with the heavy topic of abusive relationships, something you would never guess from the terrible (well, by romance standards not so bad) cover. This book was not the silly escapist fluff I was expecting. Little does Caleb know that Anna has a few secrets of her own. The next think she knows Anna is travelling with a Caleb, bounty hunter who is secretly a werewolf. Anna Moder has finished her shift at the grocery store in small town Alaska and just wants to go home when she witnesses a shooting in the parking lot and can't help getting involved. ![]()
